Ray Berry - Chief Executive Officer
Ray Berry has over 20 years in healthcare revenue cycle management experience in both the hospital and payer environment.
Mr. Berry is the founder and CEO of Health Business Solutions.
HBS is Mr. Berry's third start-up as a founding executive.
As founder, President and CEO of BHCMS from 1998 until 2002, he was instrumental
to the company’s growth in the Behavioral Health Care (service) side of the business relying
solely on Medicaid while creating positive cash flow. Prior to creating HBS Mr. Berry
also co-founded and developed one of the largest Denial Management service companies in the country.
The growth of the Managed Care Denial industry lead Mr. Berry to create HBS in an effort to
capitalize on the newer more progressive technology available in the expanded market. Mr. Berry
and HBS also wanted to accommodate the Hospitals desire to provide this valuable service in house.
Mr. Berry became well known during his tenure as the State of Florida regional administrator of
behavioral healthcare. He has spoken frequently at industry events and has been an adjunct instructor at Nova University in Fort Lauderdale.
